Happy Thanksgiving + Comic Strip: Our World 2

Hi followers of my blog!

It's been a while since the last time I posted on this blog. First off, I wanted to wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving! I hope you all have a great time!

Second, well, since I happen to have this comic strip collecting dust on my computer, I thought I'd post it. I haven't been making comics in a while, mostly because I'm busy with homework and my own writing. Here it is. Hope you enjoy it.

Progress Report

Hey guys! It's been a long time since I posted to this blog. Well, I've been busy what with my jobs and my school work. Because of that, I've been slow both with my writing and with fixing up my latest completed work for publishing on Amazon. I've only just completed one of three phases in the fixing up process. And the second one's probably the longest phase in the process. So, it'll probably be weeks still until it's out.

Right now, I'm working on the latest Ben and Co. novel, around five chapters already out. And I've been working on the sequel to my sci-fi, steampunk-like, juvenile/middle grade novel, Country of Dragons at a slower pace. That's something to look forward to, though I'm going to have to think up a cover for that one. As we all know, I'm no good with drawing.

To finish this blog, here's the image I'm planning to use for my latest book's cover. Tell me what you think at the comments!

Happy reading!

Turtle Speed

Hey, followers of my blog.

Wow, it's been a really long time since my last blog post. And it'll probably be a really long time before the next blog post. Right now, I've finished with the second of the Paladin Academy Chronicles book, but because school work's been picking up lately, it'll be a while before I can finish up the brush-up and fine-tuning that comes before actually publishing it on Amazon. And in the meantime, I've decided to start on the next entry to the Ben and Co. Novel series. I said I would get back to another old project that I put on Hiatus, but at the moment, I'm facing some writer's blockage on that front, so it'll be either slower progress, or back on Hiatus. Making no promises right now.

Anyway, with the way things are going now, it'll probably be by the next month or so that I actually get Star-Crossed Magic out. Hopefully a little faster, depending on how much free time I have for the next couple of weeks.

Until next time! Happy reading, everybody. And in case I don't get back on in time: Happy Halloween!

Been a while

Hey, so it's been a while since my last blog post. Lately, I've been swamped with homework, which normally left me with not a lot of time to just relax. I'm still writing, though, it's taken a little longer than usual for me to get chapters out on Hubpages. Right now, I'm focusing on finishing the second book of my rebooted Paladin Academy Chronicles series. Once I'm done with that, it'll be back to the adventures of Ben and Co. In the meantime, I'm also working on something that I had put off for a while.

And I think I mentioned before how I've been planning a crossover novel. In case I haven't, then just so you know, it's something that I've been wanting to try out for a while. I blame crossover episodes of television shows I watch and comics I read.

Well, that's all I have to say for now. It might be a while before my next post. Until then, happy reading!

My Latest Novel

So, a lot earlier than I expected. I finally finished the final book of the Silverwest Trilogy!!! This makes the series my first completed one! So that makes this book, another milestone!

Here's what's to know about my latest novel: It's a fantasy story with adventure and action. 'Nuff said!

Just kidding. Here's the description I put for it on Amazon.

"A few years ago, an army of magical beings known as the Brethren, that was sealed away for many years was released by accident. Now they are getting ready to wage war against the world for the sake of all Faerie. Little do they realize that they are part of a more sinister plot. Now the chase is on for a legacy left behind by the great warlock Alexander Silverwest that might hold the key to the fate of the world. Will the Warlocks of Silverwest Manor get to the legacy first, or will the sinister force behind the Brethren finally have victory?"

It's actually been out for a few days, but I never got around blogging about it because of school work, job, and all that. I already added the links to it in the Silverwest Trilogy page, and a pic of the cover in the My Books page. Below is a pic of the cover. If you want to check out the book, just click on it, and a tab will open up to the book's Amazon page. Also, before I forget, starting on July 31, and ending at August 4th, 2015, the ebook will be out FREE.

Well, that's all I have to blog for now. Happy reading everyone.

*And please tweet or share it so others know about it. Thanks in advance!*

Coming Soon! . . . And some Milestones

Hey guys.

So, I'm pretty much only have the final chapter to work on for the final book of my Silverwest Trilogy. Which means, that maybe by next month, I'll have it independently published! As I'm sure some of you know by now, I normally publish my novels with Createspace and Amazon. It's been a long time coming for this novel. Maybe years! The final chapter is more like an epilogue really. And when I said "maybe by next month" that really means "MAYBE". There might be delays in finishing the novel, as there always has been, which was why it took so very, very, very long to reach this point for this novel.

In other news, I've just hit some really good milestones last week. First Semester Magic, the first book of my Paladin Academy Chronicles series, and Paranormal, the first book of my Ben and Co. novel series, both had over hundreds of units borrowed or read through Kindle. That's almost more than when they were being sold for free! Funny enough, First Semester Magic was read more than Paranormal by about a hundred.

Anyway, woohoo! Over 200 to 300, totaling over 500 people read my books this past week! Here's to hoping hundreds turns into thousands! Fingers crossed.

Happy reading, everybody!

Comic Strip: Our World

Hey, followers of my blog. It's been a long while since I last posted. There's really nothing much to talk about. It's just the same-old, same-old. Being kept busy because of school and such. I did make some progress in the final Silverwest Trilogy book. So, since there's not much interesting news to give, I thought I'd post another comic strip instead.

Enjoy

Paladin Academy Character Comics II

Hey, so here's another comic about one of my favorite creations, a character who you can expect to appear in future Paladin Academy Chronicle novels, Josephine Desorciere Duncan. She's just one of those characters that stuck to me after I thought of 'em, especially her personality and some of her background.

I hope you enjoy it!

Paladin Academy Character Comics I

So here's a comic I made using one of the characters from my Paladin Academy Chronicles series, introducing the mentor character of the series, the super powerful, super idiotic, super mischievous Professor James Jing Wu.

A New Comic II/And in other news . . .

So, here we are once again. And so soon. Well, you know how you get something new and you want to use it right away? And when you start using it, you keep using it frequently for a while? That's what it is with me and that new comic-making app I got. Once again, a character from the Ben and Co. novel series will be introduced. These comics are meant to be more humorous than the novels they're based on. They are also just for fun so don't expect any really good effort or variety. (I'm too cheap to buy more variety like different kind clothes for the characters, anyway.)

Also, in other news, I'm still working on the second Paladin Academy novel. I mostly have an idea of where I want the story to lead, but it can be a struggle trying to think of a way to lead to the end point. I'll try to finish the next chapter as soon as possible. All these comics about Ben and Co. makes me want to hurry up and start on their next adventure.

Anyway, happy reading!

A Comic

Hey, so I recently got this program where even people terrible at drawing (like myself! I am extremely horrible!) can make decent manga-style comics. I know that just about almost everyone in the world knows what manga is by now, but I'll explain again anyway. Basically, manga are Japanese-style comics. All over the world, there are fans of Japanese-style cartoons, animation, games, etc. I'm one of them. As such, I always wanted to try making my own. Here's a four-panel strip I made to introduce a character from my Ben and Co. novel series. The program I used is called ComiPo! If I ever feel like it, I might make more based on the stories I'm writing.
Enjoy, and happy reading!

Slow Progress

Hey, followers of my blog. It's been a long, long while since I last posted here. Well, let's get you all up to speed about how my writing has been going so far. There's not much to tell, really. I still try to get one chapter a done per week. BUT! Unfortunately, things have been getting really busy for me, what with my studies for a Masters degree and all. Because of that, things have been going slow with my writing. Hair-pulling frustration-inducing slow. I'll still try to get as much chapters out as I possibly can, and as fast as I can. At the moment, a lot of my works were put in hiatus. Right now, I'm on the second book for the PALADIN ACADEMY series. I'm not even halfway through that. But once I'm done, I'm planning on finally getting to the second book of my SHADOW SLAYERS trilogy.

There are also the books that I have put on hiatus for probably a year now. I have not made any progress at all in that time with them, but I do hope to get to them eventually. I just hope that I can finish the final book of the SILVERWEST MANOR trilogy before the final book of the other series that I'm working on. The way it's going now, that'll probably happen.

Well, that's all I have to say for now. Happy reading, everybody!

New Story Ideas

Hey, followers of my blog! So, this was sooner than I expected. But I couldn't help myself. I wanted to share a new story idea I just thought of. It takes place in the far, far, far, far, far future, where virtual reality games exist.
Here's what I have planned for this story: It'll mostly take place in a virtual reality MMORPG (Mass Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) game. But it won't be like the show Sword Art Online, story-wise. It'll be more like a slice of life comedy. Just some regular school kids spending their spare time on online games. The only kind of drama will be the stories of the game they play. And the only action will be when they're completing quests, grinding, or taking part in events.
So, what do you think? Post your thoughts!
Well, that's it for me now.
Happy reading!

Busy Times

So, it's been an extremely long while since I last posted on this blog. First off, sorry. Second, there's a chance it'll be a long time before I start blogging again the next time around. I've been so busy lately, that I barely have time to write my stories, especially the ones I'm mainly focused on. It'll soon be two months since I last posted a chapter of my original light novel on my other blog. I don't intend to abandon a project, but I do have others on a long-term hiatus. So there's a chance that'll happen for the light novel work too. There's one work I'm so close to finishing, and yet because of all the stuff in real life, like job and school work, completion seems like years away.
Well, anyway, my releases will continue to be irregular. I just hope I can publish another full novel on Amazon any time soon.
Until the next post. Happy reading!

Post of the Month

Hey, so it's been a really long time since I last posted something on this blog. I've been really busy, what with school work, my job, and all that. I've also been trying to keep pretty decent progress in my stories. Not just the ones on Hubpages but also my original light novel stories, a form of writing from Japan that seems to adopt elements of stories from manga (Japanese comics) and anime (animated shows). I post the chapters of the light novel stories in another blog. Just click HERE for them. Because I'm more focused on the other stories, I've been really slow with the light novel. Right down to maybe one chapter once or twice a month.
Anyway, these days I'm mostly focused on the second Paladin Academy book. What can I say? The series was the first one I seriously worked on ever. I do plan on getting back on track with the sequel to Country of Dragons, but that might be a while. And there's also still the final book of the Silverwest Manor Trilogy. Now that's a book that's long overdue for finishing.
Once one or two of those are done, I plan to get back to the Ben and Co. novels. Since those remain indisputably the best of my works to date, I want to get back on the series as soon as possible.
What else? Oh, yeah. I've also been writing a few poems, which you can check out the list on this web's Poetry Archive. Just click the link at the top bar or click HERE.

Character Pages

Hey, so today I wanted to talk more about the changes I'm making for this blog. I had decided at the end of December to make character pages for my books series. The links will be put in each series' page, which you can go to by clicking the series' name.
Right now I'm working on the character page for the Ben and Co. Novels. I'm almost done and will put it up soon. Until then, happy reading.

First Blog of The Year!

So, Happy 2015, everybody! This is the first blog of the new year. To start, I'm going to talk about the new things I have planned for the blog. You know, if you've checked my blog out, that I have pages dedicated to the books I've already published. For those book series, I'm working on pages that introduce the characters of the story. I'll try to make sure there aren't any spoilers, and put on only characters from the stories that are already published. I'm already working on the character page for the Ben and Co. Novels, but it might be some time before it's up. I'm also going to change around some stuff in the My Books page and put Country of Dragons and its sequel as part of a larger series. But that won't be for another long while.
Well, looking forward to seeing how far me and my books will grow in the new year. Have a happy new year, everyone!
