Recycling Characters

Hey everyone!

I hope this post finds you well. I'm doing okay so far into the new year. So, I thought I'd take the time to share with you something I've been thinking about, which is recycling characters. I've been growing really attached to the world of one of my series, The Eternal Witch series, and was hoping to expand on it. I was also planning to make characters of my other series become the focus of future stories, such as from Sparrow Hawkins from Country of Dragons or his cousin, Elizabeth from Wisdom of the Dragon. Those characters were originally supposed to stars in a sci-fi detective story set in the same steampunk world as Country of Dragons. But I think I'll put versions of those characters into the world of the Eternal Witch instead. Which is why the title of this post is "Recycling Characters". I might keep the steampunk elements, but if I use them for the world of the Eternal Witch, I can't make it exclusively sci-fi, which is fine with me. I'm sort of all over the place with my writing, and there are a lot of stories that mix-mash sci-fi and fantasy anyway.

That's all I got to say for now. Thanks for stopping by, and Happy Reading!

Jan. 01, 2020: The First Blog Post of the Year

Hey everyone.

I hope you've all had a wonderful New Year's Day! Mine was pleasant. Granted it was just like any other day off for me. But still! I got to relax, and that's all that matters. This year will see many more stories being published, mine among them. I'm almost done with one of the novels I'm currently working on, and I've started on the final novel of the Ben and Co. series main story line. I have some solid plans on what to do after that where Benjamin's universe is concerned. Even if the main story comes to a close, that doesn't mean I'm not done with that world just yet. If inspiration ever strikes me, I might even put out spin-off stories that'll have someone else be at the center instead of Benjamin, except for the last novel which will follow someone else's adventure this time around.

Whoops! Spoiler alert!

Well, that's all I have to say for now. But before I bring this post to a close, let me say this:

Happy New Year! Here's to a great 2020 (hopefully)!! And happy reading, everyone!
